This book was great, reading about Mr. O'Reilly's sometimes hysterical escapades in Levittown, NY brought me back to my own childhood. It really clarifies his conservative point of view, and I have a greater respect for this self made man. I would recommend this book highly, it was very entertaining, I laughed out loud several times as I read this book from start to finish without stopping.

A Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity by Bill O'Reilly
Review created: 10/19/09

I loved the story about Bill O'Reilly's life. I didn't want to stop reading, from the first day that I opened this book until the last page, I loved the book many stories were like my life as I was raised in St Louis, during the 30's. My mother was quite a bit like Bill's mother, a terrible cook, but she tried. My father was a bit more like Bill is now, sharing life experiences, and wisdom. He died too young at the age of only 56, due to the hard live of the "Great Depression" I lived through it also, I know absolutely nothing about the depression being "Great" unless it was meant to show how bad and large it was. Now at 86 years old, I am re-living it again. Thanks Bill
