What's not to love about a mystery where the heroine (Neiman-Marcus salesgirl Carlotta Wren) considers raising money for her brother's gambling debts by selling some of her designer clothes on eBay?
Once again, series author Stephanie Bond combines mystery, romance, and suspense, all leavened by a dash of humor and some stylin' fashion tips.
"There should be a notice on her books: For a really GOOD time, read Stephanie Bond," says the America Online Romance Fiction Forum. Whether you read "Body Movers" for the romance or just to find out whodunit, you are sure to enjoy a cozy ride plus lots of fun along the way.

Carlotta Wren is at it again! She tries to lead a normal life to no avail! Trouble, murder and mystery, just seem to be a constant companion. She works at Neiman Marcus,has been both Mother and Father to her younger brother, who is more than a handful himself, has interesting friends who add to her troubles, her lovelife or lack of one,being an amateur detective keeps her in constant turmoil and has people dropping like flies all around her!
For those who know Atlanta, many landmarks, businesses,and local personalities are mentioned in Stephanie Bonds books. They are filled with a lot of mystery but also quite a bit of humor. I love her books! She is a fantastic Atlanta based writer. Her books are so good that you just can't wait unitl the next book comes out to see what kind of mess Carlotta Wren will get into next.

Think of this as "little rich girl hits reality."The overlay of romance novels is that of a woman who is really a princess being swept off her feet by the white knight on his stallion--
Stephanie Bond turns that on its ear in the Body Movers series.
The protagonist is a formerly little rich girl who has a nightmarish twist of fate rip her parents from her-- but not in a normal manner, and maybe not permanently, left to fend for herself and take care of a difficult baby brother, forced to work as a sales clerk in the same store she used to patronize, to both deal with those who used to be her friends and develop new friends-- all while struggling with both her personal life and a wild card batch of men who might or might not be interested in her.
And she does not have the best sense of judgment, either, and frequently screws things up all by herself.
Good by itself, this volume sets up the series, a series in which things spin even further out of control as she keeps looking for a happy ending.
Be warned. If you like it you need to budget for the rest of the series.
