I love the Blues Brothers and couldn't find it in any story. It's great to now have it on DVD. It's still as funny today as it was when it first came out, and the music is AWESOME!

A must see although it is rater R there is not much in the way of violence just a lot of swearing and breaking the traffic laws. Great appearances by Rhythm and Blues Legends such as Ray Charles, James Brown, Aretha Franklin and Cab Calloway. Join Jake and Elwood Blues on their "Mission from God". The extended version adds more music and hilarity than ever before.

The Blues Brothers is an excellent film in all respects. I mean, where else can you see Carrie Fisher as a homicidal ex-girlfriend? This movie has it all, famous artists, a quirky protagonist duo, rib-cracking comedy, action galore, the biggest baddest car chase ever, and great music to top it all off. Overall, a superb mix of action and art, and a definite must-see.

The Blues Brothers movie is a classic. It is funny and enjoyable for the family to watch. I was able to purchase it for a very competitive price. It's a movie I've wanted to add to my collection for some time.

its the blues brothers you can't go wrong..........its the absolute best blues sound of its type. no its not BB or billie holiday its the blues brother . if you have to depend on reading this garbage to help you decide to buy this tune, get a life. you need to check into a psych ward and listen to gnarls barkley for a spell. its the blues brother. if beluschi were alive he'ld kick your butt. enjoy.

) This is an excellent DVD,if you like Belushi and Akroyd, it is done in high quality v.ideo. It is full screen and is even brighter than the original. I bought it because my old copy wasn't as good as this one. I would recommend it to anyone who remembers the old SNL cast, and who really appreciates some real kicking music.

A Must Have !After the release of Jake Blues (John Belushi) from prison, he and brother Elwood (Dan Aykroyd) go to visit the orphanage where they were raised by nuns. They learn that the Church stopped its support and will sell the place to the education authority, and the only way to keep the place open is if the tax on the property is paid within 11 days.

Just had to buy the DVD, to replace my all-but-totally-worn-out VHS tape of this classic comedy! This movie should be in every home DVD collection. It is a true cult classic. You will groove to the music while you can't help but sing along, plus you'll be rolling on the floor laughing your A$$ off from beginning to end! This one is a true comedy classic!

A Fantastic Classic - The Blues Brothers MovieAll these years, I thought I had seen The Blues Brothers movie. We started to talk about it one evening, wanted to watch it, thought we had it, but it was missing. Since we had talked about it, I wanted to watch it. I went to eBay, found it ASAP, had it within a couple of days and watched it that night. I found out that I HAD NOT SEEN IT! Sure, I had seen a few of the scenes, but OH MY GOD! What a great movie. The music is fantastic, the acting even better and the chase and crash scenes are great! Not to mention the comedy! No wonder this movie is such a classic with the actors Dan Ackroyd and John Belushi at their best. No complaints here. If you haven't seen this movie - get it!
