Good book! Definitely will help for the Shelf exam I have to take for OB/GYN. I believe it does a good job of highlighting the important points but it also seems to have some extra information added that only a OB/GYN resident would need to know.

This is a great book for OB/GYNE courses. The text is compact and simple to read. There are about 75 questions in the back of the book, which were a great review for the shelf exam.

I decided to buy the book because many of my fellow students told me it would help me, especially because I knew little about OB. In fact, my attending was beyond this book and would ask questions that were more in depth. I used it as a quick overview, to freshen or imprint my memory, but Current (Lang) helped me out more. The book is only an overview--so if you are not familiar with OB terms you may need to have another text on hand. Use it for the Step more than the rotation if you are at a facility that expects more from you.
