Publisher's Note On her way to the depot, Bluebonnet meets a friendly local cat, T.P., who explains that he is named for the Texas & Pacific -- the railroad that made Marshall famous. Bluebonnet soon discovers that T.P. knows a lot about the railroad and the depot, where he works to keep it free of mice. With T. P.'s help, Bluebonnet learns, among other things, that the depot was built in 1912. Children will learn much more in a story not only of trains and history, but of friendship.
