Murder Mystery with Hannah Swensen

The Hannah Swensen Mysteries from Ms. Fluke are a tasty read! In this book Hannah, owner of the Cookie Jar bakery, is busy baking for the Lake Eden, Minnesota annual Winter Carnival. Unfortunately, the honor of baking the official Winter Carnival Cake went to Connie Mac, who has her own cable TV show. Connie is a bossy, bad-tempered, domineering woman that nobody likes and so it is no surprise when Hannah finds her dead after eating one of Hannah's blueberry muffins! Hannah's a baker without an oven since her Cookie Jar is declared a crime scene. Her only alternative is to cook up a plan to find the murderer and save her business. There are a lot of suspects, including Connie's assistant, Janie, who's been missing since the night of the murder and a photographer who got fed up with the diva's demands, not to mention several other disgruntled employees. Hannah realizes she may have bitten off more than she can chew!
If you love quaint towns and charming characters than don't miss any of Ms. Fluke's books. The recipes at the end are an added mouth-watering bonus!
