Blue may be for Nightmares, but this book isn't one.
This book has been on a whirlwind since its release in 2003. There wasn't much publicity for it, yet, the teenage mouth spread it faster than wildfire. This book is the story of a teenage girl who goes to a semi-boarding school. Not only is she a bit quarky, but she's a practicing Wiccan. Since her potty training days she has been learning the ways of the craft from her caring grandmother. Eventually her religion takes a large role into the story when she has visions of a murder. Not just any murder, but the murder of her best friend. She tries to use her wiccan magic to subdue the possibilities.
This was a facepaced, quick read. The plot was thick, the characters lifelike, and it truly gave you the sense of real magic. Especially when her nightmares and visions come true, it cuts deep to the heart of everyperson when a situation such as that, has occured to them as well.
