This book gives a basic idea of the value of most guns. The book seems to have its favorites to the neglect of others. I can see the difficulties of trying to write one book that covers gun values for every part of the country.

This book is helpful for buyers and sellers. However, the conditions issues are still not clear, especially concerning the finish on antique guns. However, I wouldn't invest in collectibles without this as a reference.

I have bought this book every year for over 15 years. It is the most comprehensive book about firearms and their values. Also gives detailed information about the particular model. This is a must have for anyone who trades guns.

This book's forte is in not just giving values based on the condition of the gun but also training the reader how to recognize these conditions themselves. At nearly 2300(!) pages this book covers more than just a handful of models. However, it does not cover as many special production guns as one might expect. Honestly though, with billions of firearms in the world and millions of different models, issues, and commemorations it would be impossible to cover them all. The price is extraordinarily reasonable given its content. My gunsmith has one. It's a must for anyone that owns/is looking to purchase more than a couple firearms.

A great reference book for anyone buying, selling or insuring firearms. Includes just about every firearm conceivable and is a must-have.

realizing the book is more than 2250 pages, I feel there needs to be more spacing that would let one review the items. maybe make it into two volumes.

It was exactly what my husband wanted. He enjoys collecting guns and this book gives him the information he needs.

Although missing several firearms ( Spas 15 ) and Missmatched cal.& serial numbers ie.( mod. 29 in 41 mag & mod 57 in 44 mag ) this a very informative book. It is a good referance.

Book has become too large, perhaps 2 volumes are needed. One for handguns, one for long guns.
I buy this book every year for last 10 years.
