I am a Classic movie fan and I love Shirley temple an Elizabeth Taylor movies. I like them because they are more family oriented movies, well some of them.

This is an excellent movie I have loved for a long time. Am transferring all movies to DVD and am very happy to have found this one.

Very rare film based on finding happiness, real old movie scale and plot.

As usual, a real treat to see Shirley Temple in action.

I bought this for one scene I remembered from watching this movie as a child. Shirley Temple sees her grandparents whom have passed away. The just of it is they only come to life when they are thought about. My grandparents are my hero's whom I most admire remembering this movie has made me commit to trying to think of my grandparents every day.As for the rest of the movie well wow causes you to really realize how far things have come as well how demented our society has become.

I decided to buy BlueBird, because my daughter has so many other DVDs of Shirley Temple. We have spent many a family nights watching Heide, or another Shirley Temple movie. To me, this movie was not engaging. it was very strange. Almost like it was supposed to be a musical. The writing of it was so choppy. Although I adore Shirley Temple, this movie was a flop to me. Save your money--This one is NOT worth it.

The Blue Bird is a great fantasy movie with Shirley Temple. The movie is fit for the whole family. There are some seens that still, by todays standards may be too intense for children (fire in the forest, grave yard). All in all it is a very delightful movie full of fun, imagination and great special effects for the time it was made. A timeless classic, The Blue Bird will delight the entire family young and old. I thought the movie had more depth to it then The Wizard of Oz. The movie has a brilliant music score by Alfred Newman. It is one of my favorites. I hope you enjoy it!

EVERYTHING. I DECIDED TO BUY IT BECAUSE, I HAD WATCHED IT AS A CHILD AND IT HAD BROUGHT ME TO TEARS. I JUST LOVE THIS MOVIE. EXPECIALLY SHIRLEY TEMPLE.

This movie is the original "bluebird" movie starring shirley temple. however, in the 1970's-1980's a remake of this movie was done. i have not been able to find the remake! i am desperate to find it! if anyone can possibly track it down, i will pay VERY GOOD MONEY FOR IT!

I like this movie as a child and it was a trip down memory lane to see it again. I even named my cat Tylette as a child.
