Reviews  LOVED IT!!! The previous Scarpetta novel was a little boring! So Blow Fly was a great read! It includes some of the most bizzare past characters and wraps up some of the long running story line. It is Patricia Cornwell at her best. In this novel, Dr. Kay Scarpetta's career as Chief medical examiner for Virginia has come to a jarring end. Hounded in the media and in the courtroom for what some claimed of her imvolvment in the murder of a deputy police officer, she packed up her belongings and set out on a journey to enjoy the florida sun. However, her goals and what she ends up with is not what she envisioned when she decided to take on a new job as a private forensic consultant. Between the mystery of a case who left her colleagues profoundly disturbed, an inmate who pursued her to her very doorstep asks to see her to give all the details of the case, and her niece who becomes more involved than Scarpetta wants, the intriguing end to this plot twisting novel will keep you reading until the end. Anyone who is a fan of Patricia Cornwell will not be disappointed and for those who have never read Patricia Cornwell is in for a treat. Review ID: 10000000001941301 Was this review helpful?
