BloodRayne (PC Games, 2003)

Bloodrayne is one of the most enjoyable action games I've ever played. I purchased the PC version to replace the PS2 version I originally had -which was destroyed. I've never been a big fan of third-person-perspective games, but this is one I was really able to get into when it came out.
While the graphics are now sub-par to what people expect these days, the game-play in comparison to the 2nd version of the game is far better. For me game-play is the most important aspect of a game, it's what makes you want to pick it up and play again after you've beaten it the first time, and come back for more after that. This is one of those games.
They high-gore content and graphic language, make it one of those games that's a really good way of blowing off steam from a taxing day of having to deal with frustrating circumstances.
