Blood In, Blood Out (DVD, 2000, Director's Cut Edition)

I bought this movie for my parents. I have not personally seen the movie, but they have been wanting the movie. My parents have asked me to find movies for them and means I have the computer I can.

I really love that I found this item on ebay. I had tried to look for at other movie stores. No luck. It was a gift for my hubby. He was surprised, because it wanted it since he first saw about nine years ago. The price was very reasonable as well.

I have this movie on VHS but I wanted in DVD. It's a very interesting story. I love it. That's why I'm buying a new one.

This movie, tell the real truth about prisions and the systems and what happens for real in the prisions. It tells about unity and family, drugs and additions and how they can over come their past to make in in this crazy world that we live in. Some people never know prisions thank god but those who do have to deal with alot of other complications just to stay alive. Might be a movie for someone on the wrong road to life will watch and mabey make a differece in thier life. This movie is true and tells the real story from and real convicts side of very . Lot's of real truth........

The movie displays a look into the life of inner city Latino brothers & cousins & the life each has led up to during a period of about 20 years

I come from ohio, not an area known for large populations of our latino brothers, so all I know about latino culture comes from the big and little screen. The movie has a great story line in that it draws on what it must be like for a youngster growing up in one culture and having the appearance of a totally opposite culture. The acting is outstanding and enough action to keep anyone entertained.Great job !

I LOVE THIS MOVIE BECAUSE IT DEPICTS WHAT A LOT OF MINORITY MEXICAN AMERICAN YOUNG BOYS GET PULLED INTO AND HAVE NO WAY OUT OF IT BECAUSE THEY COME FROM LARGE POVERTY STRICKEN FAMILIES. ITS DISAPPOINTING TO ME THAT THIS SITUATION HAPPENS TO A LOT OF YOUNG PEOPLE FROM THE BARRIO BUT IT IS THE ONLY WAY MOST OF THEM KNOW AND HAVE TO SURVIVE THE WAY THEY NOW HOW. ITS A GREAT MOVIE OF SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST WTIH A DARWINISTIC POINT OF VIEW ONCE THEY ARE APART OF THE PRISON SYSTEM:)

This is in my top shelf of movies. I travelled to San Antonio, Tx to see a screening hosted by Jesse Borrega. This movie takes you into the lives of three Los Angeles friends and how their lives are forever changed by foolish acts of neighborhood pride. Benjamin Bratt stars in this movie as the young "Gallo Negro" his career has seen steady growth since.

This movie is good. If you like Cholo movies and are facinated with Mexican gang life in the 80s this movie will not dissapoint. The cast is strong and the use of real "hommies" adds a legitamate backdrop for the story line. Speaking of which, the story arch is good however it is a bit drawn out. It is filmed in the style of an epic but at times feels more like sitting in traffic, on the freeway, knowing you want to get off and at the same time knowing that the next exit is still half a mile away. Hey, at least the music is great. I do recommend this movie however. It makes a great drinking game and is oddly campy enough to be one of those: Raining on a Saturday afternoon with nothing else to do movies.

From kids in the barrio, to prison, to the formation of the Mexican Mafia. In the style of American Me, this movie delivers big! It is rare and hard to find. Buy it Now!!! or I might have to send them folks to pay you a little visit! Enjoy!

I simply love this movie i've seen once, twice, and i keep seeing it i just can't stop absolutely a MASTERPIECE i love it it's great i recommend it!!

this is a great latino movie about how life really is in the barrio. They put togeather a story about the "vatos locos" a gang in los angeles. very true, excellent, real life adventure. You learn what its like to grow up in east los angeles as a mexican american, what happens if you join a gang, and where everything falls apart from there. its a must see.

This movie its awesome!!!! I realy like all movie Im just feel sad when the little kid dies but all movie keep me in my sit I dont whant a move for nothing till the movie done...I recomended for everyone its fantastic......

This movie shows how life could be in the barrio.
