This was another great addition to the Terry Goodkind "Sword of Truth" series. It contained all of the same great storyline and detail that you would come to expect from him. However, as with all of the other books in the series, I feel that there is too much re-explaining what has happened in previous books. I can understand that it would help for somebody picking up one of the books in the middle, but it does get tiring to readers who already know everything in the past series.

Love the book and will continue to read the series. I personally could not put the book down and read it in two days, while still maintaining my personal responsibilities. It is easy to read as a young adult novel, however some of the content may not be appropriate for young readers although it is not too graphic with inappropriate details. Author has a way of writing that makes the reader feel compassion for the characters and as if they are right there with them experiencing what they do.

Great writing. Read the whole series from book one. Although each is a stand alone story. Thank goodness there is a happy ending and a clue to new troubles. The characters draw you in and you feel like you know them.

great story!Terry Goodkind does not disappoint. Another great read in the sword of truth story. It is a little mature for younger readers, but certainly not too bad. There are very few slow spots. Great author, great story!

great bookI am reading the sword of truth sieres and it is an amazing sieries by terry goodkind. This is the third book and i have been looking for it for a while. I haven't read this book yet but i know it will be a good read once i get to it.

Great BookI really enjoyed this book, Blood of the Fold by Terry Goodkind. If you've read the prequels I highly reccommend that you continue the series with this novel. If you haven't read any of Terry Goodkind's other books I reccommend even more that you pick up "Wizards' First Rule" and start the series. The characters are actually believable and the storyline is nothing if not intriguing.

Blood of the Fold.. continuing saga of Richard & Kahlan
) Terry Goodkind has done a very good job of bringing new challenges to Richard, Kahlan and Zeb in the continuing Sword of Truth series. There seems to be a bit more time spent on bringing the reader up to date on what happened prior to this episode which I find a bit annoying. Overall it is well written and exciting.

Another Great Terry Goodkind "Sword of Truth" NovelI've been reading fantasy and science fiction books since the 1960's and have read a lot of good series. I would put this particular series among the best. Terry Goodkind has really mastered the ability to tell a story with all the elements that people who enjoy this genre are going to love. Even though there is some repitition of what has gone on in previous books, I would highly recommend reading the books in order. Of all the books in the series, there is only one I wasn't thrilled with, and that was not because it was not a good book, but because it did not match the quality of the other books in the series. By itself, it was a great book. I've read every book in this series twice, and I rarely read any book more than once.
Blood of the Fold was one of my favorites. It reminds me a little bit in it's style of Arthur Miller's "The Crucible" in the message that it brings across. The hatred and intolerance of others is ever present. The way Richard, Kahlan and Zed handle these problems without getting killed is amazing. A truly great read.
