Blood Diamond (HD DVD, 2007)

Set during Sierra Leone's bloody civil war in 1999, this thriller
stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Danny Archer, a smuggler who sells "blood
diamonds" used to finance terrorists. When Archer meets a local
fisherman (Djimon Hounsou) whose son has been forced into a child
army, the two men's lives become intertwined, and they set off on
the adventure that leads them through the worlds major diamond centers.
Hounsou has found a very large diamond and buried it, in a location
only he knows, DiCaprio wants it but they must Hounsou insists they
must rescue his son-then he will turn over the diamond. DiCaprio
and Hounsou earned Oscars for their performances in the movie and the
director Edward Zwick (Glory, The Siege, The Last Samurai, Defiance, etc.)
adds another hit to his long list. Definitely will give you full
evening of viewing pleasure if you like action & adventure movies or
if you are a collector of DiCaprio s (Titanic, Aviator, The Departed,
Body of Lies, etc) good list of movies. Jennifer Connelly co-stars in the
part of a reporter investigating blood diamonds and also does an excellent
job with her part.

The movie excellent,the seller need left from ebay,no respect buyers,not answer,not leave feedback,not reply buyers feedback,buyer need know it,closeoutvideo-half are super bad seller,don't buy from it,buy from another movie sellers,i add this little god in my bad sellers.

Di Caprio's best performance ever. Strong performances all the way around. Movie keeps you on the edge of you seat all the way through.

Engaging action and story-line. The scenery and background is awesome. DiCaprio as a "not is nice" protagonist is a good role for him. Saw it on HBO and decided it was a must have for the action movie collection.

Blood Diamond is an excellent movie. It looks great in HD and is one of the best movies available on HD DVD. Some of the extra features are actually worth watching.

Great movie revealing truths about diamonds. Surprising good Leonardo DiCaprio movie. Highly suggested to get! For the price you cant beat it, like renting a movie.
