I thoroughly enjoyed Blood Diamond from beginning to end. It's got a ton of action but that's not what I enjoyed about it. Blood Diamond manages to show the vicious brutality of the R.U.F and the effect it has on Africa while keeping the viewer engaged and on the edge of their seats.

It's an incredibly sad, yet touching story of lies, deceit, and evil. But it also shows how far people are willing to go to do what they feel is right.

Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Connelly, and especially Djimon Hounsou give amazing performances all worthy of major awards.

Worth buying: I think so, it's a great film, one I could watch over and over

My husband and I love action/combat movies, but this one never really engaged us even with all the guns, blood, explosions, and warfare. And we're usually profoundly affected by any movie where children are kidnapped/hurt/mistreated, but even this element in the movie didn't touch a nerve. The two main male characters were good in their roles, but the story on the whole just didn't do it for us. They were unable to save this sinking ship of a movie. Just kind of blah.

not a clue, had to purchase it, as the seller acted poorly. It is in the trash.
Will not watch it obivously. Will not deal with this dealer again. Don't know what else to say, so blah, blah, blah.

Very good story line, great scenery. If your wife wants a big diamond, have her watch this movie. Acting in the movie was great.

I thought this movie was incredible! The acting was amazing and you can actually feel the characters emotions coming right out of the screen. It's very intense and quite sad. The thought of what Africa is going through is truly heart wrenching! Makes you deathly afraid to even go there. Leo, as always, is fantastic in this. A must watch for anyone with a strong heart!!

Keep you guessing on the edge of your seat kinda movie. Great acting by great actors makes a great movie, and this is a great movie. Highly recomended!

Blood Diamond is an excellent movie that you can definitely enjoy watching over and over. I saw this is the theatre and knew immediately that I'd like to own it some day. I don't want to give away too much of the description... but... not only is this some of Leo Dicapprio's best acting, it's also a great story based on a true scenario that happens in the diamond industry. Also a sort of love story if you like that kind of thing. More importantly it's an action movie :)

I heard so many views on the movie so I had to see it for myself. The movie deplicts how child labor is enforced is enough to make you sick and angry.

I bought the Blood Diamond dvd movie three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this movie. It has an excellent cast and great choice of characters. The dvd has great features, graphic, and plot. Overall, I'd recommend this movie to someone else if they're on a budget.

The movie shows what is really behind "Blood Diamonds". The movie keeps you on the edge,very intense,and very good.This movie does have a lot of blood,violence,and one hell of a "reality" on the meaning of the movie. It is one movie you can watch more than once,that is why we chose it.AAA++

This movie is fabulous...entertaining and fast moving! You feel for the characters and their problems. Even the corrupt diamond business gets toned down from your concern for the characters daily hassles. Simply marvelous!

This is a exciting and thrilling movie it is full of excitiment and thrill and it really makes you think on what really happens over there were the majour diamond mines are it is a really good eye opeaner with a very very good ending i would recommend this movie to all.

I thought this was an excellent movie. This drama will make you think about world business from a different point of view. Was recommened by my sister-in-law. I glad see did.

Anything directed by Ed Zwick is first rate. This is a tough film to watch, but an important story to tell--real life isn't a bed of roses, especially in a corrupt, inhumane society like parts of Africa, where people are slaughtered.
See the movie if you can handle reality.

Love the story; veyr accurate portrayal of the war in Sierra Leone. Brings to light the real-life problems with blood diamonds and how ignorant people in the Western world are about this conflict.

A great story that reveals the greed and hatred brewing among many African nations. The acting is superb and although it is violent at times, it is not overkill but necessary to tell the story. I highly recommend this movie.

This was a very well done movie. It is a longer one but manages to keep you entertained thought out the entire film. It also talks about series issues and is action packed. It would be well worth watching.
