I had bought both Moon Called and this book (the sequel). I was really happy I had done so since I enjoyed Moon Called so much. This second book about Mercy Thompson definitely lived up to the first. The author gives us more of the vampire culture while creating a paranormal serial killer. Mercy reminds us that a hero comes from any walk of life. I look forward to Mercy's next adventure.

This is the second book after "Moon Called". I thought it was even better than the first. And the first was really good. I was definitely not disappointed!

Mercy and Adam, what a up and down dance of romance and avoidance. Again Patricia Briggs has kept me spellbound. I highly recommend this book.

I love the Mercy Thompson series, the lead character is amazing. However, it is all the little tidbits about the world of werewolves, vampires, and everything in between that is really fascinating. Patricia Briggs is extremely creative.

Blood Bound by Patricia Briggs(2007)This is a very interesting series of books. This is the 2nd book by Patricia Briggs. Mercy Thompson is a very interesting character in this book. I think it is interesting that she is also a mechanic to boot. Can't wait to read Iron Kissed book 3. I recommend everyone read Patricia Briggs books it is like a breath of fresh air.

) I originally bought the mercy Thompson series to read as a filler until some of the other titles I was waiting for were released, but was surprised to find that after i started it i absolutely could not put it down. Mrs. Briggs gives her characters so much life, and emotion these books are truly a step above most of whats being produced by this genre. I would happily compare her to the likes of Kim Harrison, and Laurell K hamilton in her earlier works. A very good book, I would recommend to anyone who reads altiverse. This is the first of the series, also see moon called and Iron kissed.

Blood Bound by Patricia BriggsBlood Bound is the sequal to Moon Called. Both books are heavy on plot, with a strong female protagonist and a lot of action. There is no sex in these books, which I find a nice change. After all the soft-porn style "paranormal/fantasy" books I've read lately, it is pleasant to read stories that rely on the STORY, not sex. I highly recommend this book, for any age group.

Both of her books moon called and blood bound are very good.
Excellent Mystery stories. I was a little in that i wanted Mercy to be more like Merry (from Laurell K. Hamilton's books) and more like Anita after NIC.
If you are one of those people who enjoyed the "early AB" BOOKS from Before the audeur then you will enjoy theses.
Infact if you are like me and really enjoy the audeur with anita then you will like these books too. But like i said, by the end of Moon Called I really Wanted Adam to be Jean Claude and by the end of Blood Bound I really wanted several characters to get together like a merry book.
