This presented an excellent opportunity to revisit a favorite album from the 60,s. I was a young guitar player when Dylan released this work and I can still remember srtuggeling with the chords and progressions.
The lyrical content was overwhelming then and continues to provide inlays of images and concepts and feelings that both bring me back to that time and project me into the future.
Dylan taught me to not be afraid to write a song that was over three minutes long.
To the younger listener, I would recommend a listen as in 2006, it is difficult to locate a writer capable of providing this level of poetry-it remains an insperation. M.F. Foster
