Blogging for Dummies by Brad Hill (2006, Paperback)

...unfortunately even with a 2006 publishing date, it is out-of-date
already!

This is a good beginning for a wannabe blogger to start with, as with most 'For Dummies' books it is well researched and written for a beginner level.

Saying that, when using several of the resources mentioned in the book, the resource websites are either on hiatus or re-organization, no longer in existence, or have been merged/bought out by another organization.

That is not the fault of this book. However to pay $21.99 MSRP for a book
that is out-of-date is not a wise investment IMHO!

You should check out your local library before buying this book
on eBay or at a B&M store, as it is a good read for those wanting to know what a blog is, the history, how to blog and then what to do with it! Just be aware that the resources mentioned are out of date....

I love that the book had a lot of pertinent information, just what I was looking for. Purchasing from Ebay is really effective and cheap. I paid $0.75 for the book, opposed to $22.95 in the store, and it took less time than checkout in a store. I bought it because of the price, and to read it in my leisure time, while gaining knowledge for a blog that I am building for teens!
