‘Blogging for Business’ is a good solid book that covers many aspects of the dynamic Internet medium of Blogging. The book more specifically focuses on Blogs that are created as part of building a business strategy and relate to product marketing and a company website, or are affiliated directly with a Corporate website. It certainly offers a good breadth of information, all of the ins and outs of Blogging, and what type of content is appropriate for different kinds of Blogs; and more specifically content that is a good framework for business Blogs and promoting product awareness and public relations.
One of the most helpful aspects of the book for a beginner is a chapter that creates a sample Blog account with Blogger.com. This example includes all of the steps necessary for setting up an account, and creating a first Blog posting, complete with illustrations of each of the screen steps.
All around it is a nice solid book, which covers the material that is promised in the title, “Blogging for Business” with helpful information for understanding this rapidly growing medium.
