Audacious, entertaining, absolutely false

I would rate WHAT THE BLEEP a 4 if it were presented as anything but the truth. This film is a propaganda project of the followers of Ramtha. Ramtha himself appears on the film, or rather his channeling prophet does. Ramtha is a 35,000 year old warrior spirit from ATLANTIS, currently appearing through the body of a slightly inebriated-looking woman who seems to have had a facelift and now speaks with an odd English accent, despite having been one more housewife/Cable TV saleswoman in Tacoma Washington before her revelation, roughly 20 years ago.
I hate to ruin it for you. None of the above is made clear in the film, which seems to be about Quantum physics and the power of optimism. But the part that IS about science is not nearly so accurate or scrupulous as most scientists prefer such things to be and the rest is just hokum. The power of positive thnking is a good thing indeed, but its limitations are real enough for most of us to recognize them.
The thrust of this film is that positive thought HAS no limitations and that nearly everything bad that happens is the result of some failure of ours to create a better reality, mostly by wishing and believing.
There are approximately 5000 Ramtha followers worldwide, many of them living near Yelm, Washington. Among them are the people who produced and directed this film.
There is now a sequel, called DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE. Maybe it will be as funny as this one.
