Bleachers

I have read everything written by grisham and although I did not expect this book to be along the same lines as most of his other writings, I was somewhat disappointed in the pace. It never really pulled me in. I found myself anxious to get to the end just to get it over with.

Grisham switches gears a little here (a lot actually) and writes about aging high school football players and the effect their hard-nosed coach had on their lives. Tough Love.

Bleachers by John Grisham is a great book. John Grisham is a master at weaving together stories, and this is one of his best. The story begins in a town called Messina, where football is everything. After coaching for many years, the former football coach, Rake, is slowly loosing his battle with cancer. Many of his players have come from all over to pay their respects to their coach, one in particular, named Neely Crenshaw, the former "All-American" quarterback who hasn't been back to Messina in a long time. Now Neely revisits old friends, remembers his glory days, and pays his respects to his coach. But he also must decide: Does he love or hate Coach Rake.

John Grisham is one of my favorite Authors, I have now read almost all of his books. I will not devulge any details about the book, Because if you are like me you will not want to know the plots untill you reach them in the book.
But I do highly recomend this book.

I love all John Grisham books. I NEED HELP FROM E-BAY AND HAVE REQUESTED IT SEVERAL TIMES. I CANNOT LEAVE FEEDBACK. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR OVER A MONTH. I AM BEING BLOCKED OUT.

Good quick read! Not one of Grisham's finest, but still a nice book overall.

All of Grisham's books are stellar, try his other's too.

I wanted the book because I have all of John Grishams 1st edit.
The book went well below the cost of buying it at a book store which was not a first edit. So that was great i received the book in about 1 week. It would have cost me in gasoline alone more money to get the book in Portland,OR. So all I can say is excellent things about the buying the book on E- bay.
