Movie Description
Richard Hell (of Richard Hell & the Voidoids) stars as Billy, a disaffected punk musician in the midst of a mounting existential crisis. Struggling to escape an increasing sense of existential dread, Billy seeks meaning and shelter in a turbulent relationship with a beautiful journalist ("Bond Girl" Bouquet) and a seemingly endless stream of street drugs. Filmed entirely on location in New York City's seedy Lower East Side and featuring a cameo by Warhol, Lommel's (TENDERNESS OF WOLVES, COCAINE COWBOYS, BOOGEYMAN) cult classic combines the stark style of the French New Wave with the energy and vitriol of late '70s punk rock.
