Blackberry 7100g

The blackberry 7100 series was ragged on alot for having a small keyboard, as opposed to previous RIMs, which had a full qwerty keyboard. I found that with the smart type funtion on, I could type text messages and emails one handed alot better than on the older blackberrys.
The screen is a bit small, but other than that its a decent blackberry.
As for cell phone, its easier to carry and not as awkward to make calls on. But the reception is rather poor in comparison to other phones. So if you live in a fringe of service area I would not recommend this phone to you.

Well, I took the chance of buying the utem knowing it was never properly check and took the risk if anything else. It seems that the cell phone works just fine when I placd a new battery and does charge the battery too. The seller was very upfront and honest. I had no problem of the transaction as usual my transactions are smooth and just fine.

Seller is very helpful in assisting me to understand the blackberry. Good arrival time and would communicate with me. However, sad to say I found it too big, and t6hat I don't need it. So, It'll be posted to be sold soon. Would definitely buy from seller again!!!

I like the blackberry 7100g better than the RIM because it is easier to hold and not as complicated. I like buying phones from E-bay because the ones I've bought have been in Great working condition and are much cheaper than I could have bought them anywhere else. I like the qwerty key board, it is easier for me to text from, although it still takes me a while.

I didn't realize how old the phone really was.. and I haven't used it since I got it!!! I thought it was a newer phone then what it was.. The shipping was fast and the saler was friendly!!

Teenager wanting a "cool" phone. Phone was in excellent condition and everything the site said. Would have kept this particular phone however the "teenager" was looking for something more stylish and not so business-like.

Pros:
-Clear screen & good, crisp colors
-Easy to navigate through menus with scroll button
-Excellent quality speakerphone, loud
-Bright LCD Screen, decent size
-lightweight body, attractive design
-keyboard takes getting used to, but is very easy to use once you get used to it

Cons:
-very limited memory, not expandable
-accessories are hard to come by
-outdated skin, still looks decent though
-if you are in a noisy area, car with window open, the headset is extremely hard
to hear
-Sounds are limited, polyphonic only, no MP3 capabilities

I bought the Blackberry for personal use. I like the large screen and colorful display. The phone is a great tool for anyone with extensive mobile communication requirements as part of their lifestyle. The battery life could be a little better, but the phone itself is great.

price was good, and it was in good condition.received withion few days . overall it was first and good experience.

The phone is to small. It was hard to become aquiantied with the features. The phone will also not accept att prepaid service. All and all this is the worst phone I have ever owned.

The blackberry is great even looks like it was never used. The only problem i have found is the battery won't hold a charge for more than about 16 hours.

I love this phone because I can recive and send emails when I am at my soccer tournuments,and being a cingular phone I have better coverage at home than my nextel phone.

The product was out of date and missing a button. I took it to the carrier store and they told me that they could not give me a button because the product had been discontinued for 2 years. It wasn't very user friendly either.

When I first was looking into the Blackberry 7100g I was really interested in the predictive text feature, the QWERTY keyboard, the size of the screen and the fact that I'd be able to send and receive emails.

It seems that I should have done more homework. While the text, the keyboard and the screen size are what still makes me love this phone, what I didn't realize before receiving it was that to use the email feature, to send and receive pictures or to download ringtones, I would need to pay an additional $39.95/month!! And of course this is in addition to my already existing $40 service plan.

Again, I should have done more homework I guess, as I ordered the phone from the Cingular website (now the new AT&T). Maybe if I had ordered it from a local authorized agent I would have been informed of the phone's (my fiscal) limitations.

I am currently in a 2 yr service agreement that runs out in September of '07, and the months can't go by fast enough. I am looking at getting the Samsung SYNC next...excuse me while I go research that one.........

Good seller, but item didn't arrive on time and also could not use for a day because the phone is locked, but seller is very helpfull and quick responder.

Recieved the item I purchased on Dec 9, 2006 on Jan 5, 2007. Did not recieve all items (Car Charger).
Phone had not been cleared except for number, there were all kinds of personal information in the phone (Address Book, Phone Lists, Memos ectra. I deleted all of this info.)
I thought that "Unlocked" ment you could take phone to any carrier and they would load their programming in. Not so,according to Verizon today.
I now have a used Black Berry that is setup for Sun-Com and no Sun-Com within a hundred miles. I recall on the purchase that it said that the phone was Verizon compatiable, am I mistaken?
I have bought another through e-bay and again this is used, unlocked and supposedly Verizon ready.
I guess if I cannot get the above resolved, you guys will have a new seller for at least 1 item.
