BlackBerry Bold 9700 (AT&T)

I bought the new blackberry 9700 and it was a very very good buying experience.
Always returned my calls.A pleasant person to work with.

Fast shipping and excellent product recommended 200%, the phone was exactly as described. Have nothing more to say but this system keeps asking me to write 100 characters!!!

The item was as expected and seller delivered it faster than expected.

This was the worst transaction by far! I purchased a Blackberry Bold 9700 "Unlocked" from this seller and when I received it; put my Rogers simcard in the phone and I was unable to make outgoing calls on the 3G network! I was very frustrated and the seller did not care at all! He just left me to solve my problem when he was the one that sole me the phone.

I asked him for a refund which was unsuccessful and had to escalate the problem to PayPal. He still continued to deny me a refund and later on called the police on me for no legitimate reason. That was perfectly fine by me as I knew I was in the right.

Now try to make sense of this: he accused me of scamming him correct? How could I have possible be scamming him with further knowledge that I will have to go out of my way and pay shipping to get the phone back to him then wait another week just to receive another phone. That makes little or no sense to me.

I will never recommend this seller to anyone as he does not offer any support for you if something were to go wrong. There is much more to say but so little time.

IF I WERE YOU, I COULD RATHER PURCHASE A PHONE EITHER LOCALLY OR FROM AN EBAY WHO OFFERS A RETURN POLICY FOR SUCH PURCHASES AS A PHONE! DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I MADE.

Support from seller was amazing, highly suggested! Wish it was further advertised that he was a link, but the support made it worth the money.

The Bold 9700 is a terrific smart-phone by all accounts. The easy to use and intuitive functionality exemplify the features that BB users have come to love. The 9700 however, has finally broken through with the "pad" that replaces the ever-so fickle "roller ball". It's simply brilliant! Top marks to the developers her for finally getting it right on the money!

I could wax on poetically about how much I love the BB's generally since being converted from rebelling against the anti social stigma I personally attributed to them in the early days - until work insisted I have one. Now I have a work one and a me one.

The one thing that does bother me is the production of different models that are unique to individual carriers in the case of the 9700 it's AT&T. I actually like the Storm line, except for the Verizon exclusivity and the fact that it's unusable with gloves on!!! The storm feels robust unlike the 8900's and the 9700's that seem to have traded sturdy feel for lightweight and slim (feel a bit flimsy for a grown man to be using and tend to wear rather quickly it seems.

While I think the 9700 is the best of the new versions, I do wish RIM would make them for us, the consumers and not for the carriers we seem eternally bound too.

I braught for my friend as a gift .It pretty good pda phone.And my friend is lovely it.
Next time I will buy it again for my wife in the next soon.

I have agreed with the seller to cancel the deal because the BlackBerry was blocked and not working in my country.

To make a long story short about the situation that brought me to buy from this seller, I didn't have the money for the upgrade to the Blackberry Bold 9700 that I Really wanted. I was skimming through the listings for this phone on ebay and came across this sellers listing, read over it pretty briefly and figured I could try it and if it was a scam, all i lost is $10. Seller sold me a link to let'stalk.com, which is FREE for Anyone. So, what this seller is doing is selling you a link to a page for $10 and on the website it tells you that you can receive $25 more by referring a friend. I Have to give him points for being creative and you can't blame a guy for trying to make a buck. He was very helpful in the process of making the upgrade but failed to tell me that let'stalk.com would be taking control of my at&t account. So, now if I need to make Any changes to my at&t account such as, adding or removing messaging or internet service, etc., I have to call let'stalk.com or THEY say that I may incurr a charge of $250 for some equipment recovery fee. Seems underhanded to me. But, the seller was eager to be helpful in most every way. Almost to the point that he doesn't want at&t or let'stalk.com to know what he's doing and anytime you have to hide something that you're doing, then you already know it's wrong. If it comes back to bite me, this seller and everyone involved will be hearing from me. P.S.
the blackberry bold 9700 is Even better, in most ways, than the 9000! Don't get the in stereo sound out of it like you did with the 9000 but the apps and messaging and most everything else has been streamlined and it fits in my hand A Lot better, Thanks Blackberry!!

I have always enjoyed my old Blackberry. The 9700 is an awesome phone! I got it instead of an iPhone, and so far I have no regrets.

Great phone! The Phone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours.

The item Black Berry Bold 9700 that i have requested or purchased threw ebay came in good shape, as well in time and it was brand new as i expected.

great bargain... cheapest price i could get locally was 99.99 and thru ebay i paid 9.99...saved 90.00 .and tony took care of the plan change and turning the phone on....no standing around a store for an hour....and the phone was delivered in 2 days...what could be better

great phone!very responsive phone. great for a upgrade for your old blackberry, has about all the feature you can ask for. has a new trackpad which is much better than what the trackball, it has more life span. i recomend this phone to anyone using a blackberry or any other phone users.

I previously had the Bold 1 9000 and was disappointed in a few things compared to comparable phones on the market. I have had the Bold 2 for about a month now and I can say they did a pretty solid job of fixing every one of them and more.

First off the battery life is far superior to its predecessor not to mention other phones on the market, also the overall size reduction, although the keyboard took a couple days to get used to, is a big advantage and seems to balance function and fashion. Lastly the track pad is great and after a little adaption i would not recommend anything else.
