BlackBerry 8703e

The Blackberry 8703e is an excellent model with a slimmed down design. It includes all of the best features of the older and fatter models, including a full QWERTY keyboard (unlike the Blackberry Pearl with its multiple letters per key). This Blackberry can be set up with corporate or personal email accounts very easily, and saves a lot of time when you are trying to keep up while travelling. The screen is well designed and easy to read. Would recommend turning off the bright green light that shows up when you are in wireless range because it is bright enough to be a nightlight and keeps flashing if you leave the Blackberry on at night. The Blackberry's automatic links to Blackberry downloads and the internet make it very easy to add new features, like ringtones, maps and games. The maps feature is highly recommended - really helps out when you are in unfamiliar areas during your travels. The only drawback with a Blackberry is the highly addictive nature of the product. You may find yourself spending lots of time staring at your Blackberry and it can negatively affect your social life when you realize you forgot how to communicate in person.
