cool factor, inexpensive (at May 1, 2006, $65.00 used) and thorough Address Book, Calendar reminders

Dislikes:
too expensive for the monthly web access service ($40/month), fragile LCD screen, only for big hands

The best PDA-like phone without the expensive pricetag. If you can't afford the high-end PDA or computer-like Smartphones, but want to be cool, trendy and need a big address book with you at all times, then this phone will suffice for at least 12 months until the next generation Blackberry is reduced in price. Its like driving a HUMMER, everyone gawks and asks me about it, but I talk it down because of the exorbiant web-access price (like the price of gas to drive the H2). The 7290 has bluetooth, but it went out of my own buying range at the time that I needed this replacement. I broke the screen on my original.

i bought the NewPhone 7280 three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

The Blackberry is easy to use and get used to. Text messages are a lot faster now and it plays some pretty good games.

My daughter likes the phone because its big and she can type on it easier,when she searches the web.The dislikes would be i didn't know you had to have a total different plan to have this kind of phone.Overall we did'nt like the phone at all. It cost a lot of money to have one every month.

This was my first blackberry and didn't know what to expect. I am a realtor and needed to stay connected with clients home and away. This unit never has failed me. My business is growing because of it's attention to detail. The newer models can only be better. For those of you just starting out or looking for a reliable blackberry I personally would recommend this one.

I didn't realize there was no speaker phone or blue tooth when I ordered the phone. The phone has great connectivity but is not very user friendly. I am used to a simple use phone where only a couple of buttons are needed to complete a task. i.e.-texting or looking up phone numbers.

my son was looking for a new phone and he found one at a very reasonable price on ebay. i like the way you send emails informing us when it was mailed. thank you very much. very good experience. and will probably buy more from ebay.

I have found that this product is very difficult to use. I had trouble figuring out the keyboard and the functions. I am very disappointed in it.

I bought this phone for my boyfriend and I had more expectations about it. He's an oil field worker and he's really rough with his phone. The phone I bought him was an 05 model, which would be a very nice phone if we were in 2005, but it doesnt have bluetooth on it which he doesnt like because he's all about ring tones. Like I said, its nice for an 05 model, but it doesnt have as much stuff as 07 models.

The product that i purchased did not work like stated in the sale add so i was very very very disapointed in this purchase.

i like it it good price, and it look good i want to by it because is affordable and it works good and i love to shope on ebay the safe place to use your card and mony and you can return if you don"t like it

I bought a phone and didnt work, I just wanted a refund and blusky cells told me no, that they only exchange for other one...I was obligated to buy other phone when I only wanted a refund...

Cheap for the daughter to accidentally dump in the toilet again. I have no idea why she was using it in the toilet but there you go. ATT wanted a ton for a new one. It works. What the heck.

Everything was just as described. I've been looking for a cheap phone for my neice that worked. It didn't have to be high tech it just needed to work for me to reach her. I have bought a couple of phones on ebay that didn't work correctly or stopped working a few weeks later. No problems at all with the product. I'm really excited and thank you so much.

I like the idea of buying a phone with the calendar included but the blackberry 7280 does not have speaker phone or connection with bluetooh.

the blackberry was in good condition when i got it and it arrived within a few days after i bought it, although it is a little big to my liking. i tried to contact the seller to return the phone but the seller would not return my email after sending several emails to the seller.

i bought a blacberry and a mini i phone and like both of them but the black berry had a little problem that they didnt tel me about, the battery is loose for some reason but it still works good. the i phone was great i loved it, everything works good and i like it because is little, even though is not the original i phone i stll liked it.

I like this phone because it is so much easier to text on or check and respond to emails if the internet is used as a selected service on your phone. I received my phone in a timely manner, and I received everything that I expected. No complaints.

I have purchased several blackberries and this is the first one that I really like! It is uncomplicated to use and I have recommended this this phone to all my friends. It is very high-tech but has excellent instructions that are so easy to use.

Phone slipped fron car seat to car floor and screen went out. To my knowledge the phone is shot! It was fair when it worked.
