Black and White Photography by Henry Horenstein (1983, Paperback, Revised)

i like that the book was is a fair condition and i needed the book for my class, and it arrived just in time for my class. in the mail with good condtion and a normal delivery, but what i disliked from this, is that it took almost 2 week in order for me to get the book so i was a little dissapointed at that but apart from that everything seemed to be okay

This book is a simple guide to B&W photography and darkroom. The newer version has more photos but the text is same.

It was good over all. Despite tha fact that it was old version, the book was in very good condition and I loved it. It was unfortune that I bought the wrong version but it was still good condition and everything. Even the shipping was pretty fast. Thank you.

My college professor for my photography class recommended this book for anyone in the class that was inexperienced in black and white photography. I am not, but I decided to buy it anyway to revive my memory (it has been years since I've been in the dark room), and it has turned out to be a great reference. It breaks down the language into fairly simple terms and has all the information you could possibly need to take a picture correctly, develop a roll of film, and print pictures in the darkroom. Definitely a great buy for anyone looking to begin black and white photography. Don't be afraid of the publication date, it holds just as much information, if not more, as newer books.

A very good comprehensive photography book. Well written and easy to read. Glad I added it to my photography library.

This is a very well thought out learning structured book. Very easy to understand, and follow. Gives very good examples of what is being discussed. After being out of Photography for some years, after reading this book, it all came back to me very easily. If you are a beginner, or wanting to try black and white, this is a must have on your book shelf.

I think the title says it all, I will add that I liked the fast shipping and great packing. I would urge others to buy from this seller. I have saved them in my favorites. If they have a book that I want in future I will buy from them.
