Black Tie White Noise by David Bowie (CD, Oct-1995, Virgin Records USA)

Love the music, some of the 80's and 90's music was great, this seller was a nightmare. Never contacted me at all, then when I did 2 weeks later, he called me a "cretin" and hoped that I would not leave him neg feedback before I received the CD. Then when I told him I didn't appreciate his name calling etc, he told me to calm down...HOW RUDE and unprofessional. I have still not received the CD.

Bowie reinvents himself yet again in this album celebrating his marraige to Iman. It definitely has a new sound over all, but it still has the same Bowie "energy" as the rest of his work. This is a great mix of songs, including some instrumental peices. If you get a chance, check out the music videos of the songs on this album. This is a must-have for all Bowie fans!

Miracle Goodnight is one of the coolest Bowie songs ever but you have to wade through a lot of annoying tracks to get there including the title track which is hideous. If I were to grade this album on the music alone it would get 1 star. But Bowie's voice and the lyrics both deserve an extra star so I'll give it 3. If you like pop radio you might love this. If you like something a little quirky and creative try just about any other Bowie album but this one.
