Black Ink Cartridge (T044140) for Epson Printer

The "genuine" Epson inks are much better than "off brands". They give better print quality and don't fade like other inks. If you have an Epson printer, I suggest buying the genuine, original EPSON inks for it.

This item is very expensive. CAD $40 to CAD $36 is normally what you'd pay at an average retail store for this cartridge. That's why I always look for bargains on eBay. It always has an expiry date on its bottom, but never mind that. It works perfectly without even a fraction of difference in performance or print quality. It often clogs the nozzle of the printer and lots of ink is wasted in cleaning the nozzle. Same is true for other cartridges of this family. It is not recommended for official use but for photo printing and other homework prints it is great for home.

You have to make sure that it's the real thing. Not a refill. They are great. I think that they are almost out of stock now. I think that I'll have to go and buy a new printer. I've had this printer for about 4-5 years now. It's worked great. I haven't had any problem with it. That's hard to find in a printer. When and if it ever dies. I'll get a new one. The ink is hard to find now.

Based on my previous experience, expiry date that written on the box, does not really matter as long as the ink still in the good sealed. even 2 years after the expiry date, the ink still working perfectly.

The cartridge is as delivered still in original wrap. I purchased it due to need put it right to work with good results.
