Good and cheapThis is a pretty basic black ink cartridge for a cannon inkjet printer. It is cheap and no frills, but has good print quality and can print on a number of types of paper including transfers and photo paper. Recently these models have not been available in stores because I think they might only be replacements for slightly older printers, but they are good. I would get one again. Genuine Cannon versions should cost under $10 and are good for a couple hundred sheets under normal circumstances.

I bought the genuine Canon ink cartridge even though it is more expensive the non-branded cartridges basically as it is a better product. I have used non-branded ink in other printers and not noticed any difference compared with the relevant brand but with canon this is just not the case.
Canon ink cartridges feel like they last forever... the additional price is easily made up in the length of time it lasts, it saves time, money and hassle.

Genuine Canon Ink Cartridges ~ The Real Deal ~No matter what you read about knock-off ink by other companies, there is no substitute for Genuine Canon ink.
