Black & Decker Spacemaker™ (ODC450) 12-Cup Coffee Maker

Been through 3 Spacemaker Coffee Makers in 4-yrs, extremely happy with this one. Very Hard to find this product, new or refurbished, but extremely glad to find a eBay store/seller to carry it at lower than department store costs. Highly recommend this store.

We had the original model and loved it. It was probably 10years old and the seals were starting to leak. We looked locally but no retailer carried them. I started looking online and was elated to find one on ebay.

My only complaint is that condensation collects on the basket and drips on the counter top when it is removed.

Actually as the person described it, brand new and is absolutely wonderful. We already had a Black and Decker Spacemaker Coffee Pot but our coffepot broke, so we were forced to buy a new one. We could only find it on ebay and this one was absolutely great. We thank them so very much..

This is a wonderful under the counter coffeemaker. Easy to use and off the counter as well. We had a very expensive ($100+) stainless coffeemaker spacemaker which had to be replaced as the plastic water unit was falling apart. This Black and Decker coffeemaker is great and we love it. Coffee stays nice and hot for a long time. And the price is good, too!

Bought this to replace my previous Spacemaker on our houseboat that fizzled out in just under two years of service. Love the design as it frees up counterspace. It's a great coffeemaker if it only lasts!

Still own and love the our original spacemaker probably about 15+ years. Therefore when I was in the market to purchase a coffee maker for our new boat we wanted another spacemaker. We were not sure spacemakers were available anymore, had to do a lot of searching to find the unit. We have not installed the unit yet, it is sitting on the counter but have been very happy with the unit so far. The pouring lid of the new carafe is much better than the original. The old one would generally leak when I poured coffee but the new lid is great, no more spills. Hopefully this unit will be around as long as the first. However, I would like to find a way to keep the filter basket from staining.

If you disconnect the sneak a cup feature on this unit you will love it.
We had 3 floods before I weakened the spring. Then we went 1 month wihout a flood. I popped the lever off of the filter basket and this unit was great
for years. This is my 3rd one. Since it is no longer available, you gotta
find it on e-bay.

I love the coffee pot and the space it saves in my motor home. It makes good coffee and brews fairly quick. It does have one drawback. The steam sometimes drips on the counter when brewing and makes a puddle. In my case it has been okay because it is mounted directly above the sink. I would not recommend putting it anywhere that you don't want to get wet.

I have owned this coffeemaker for about a month, and I found it to be exactly what I want. It has a removable water resovior, which you fill and snap back into the coffemaker. This eliminates the messy step of pouring the water into the coffeemaker, and, more inportantly, also elimantes the overhead space you would otherswise need. This allows me to place it on the counter top under the cabinets, out of the way, so it's great if you have limited counter space. It also has automtic two-hour shut-off, a clock and a 24-hour timer to start brewing at a pre-set time. The basket that holds the coffe and filter is large, and I have never had a problem with it overflowing and allowing grounds to get into the coffe pot, something that a happens frequently with another well-known brand that I previously owned. The only problem I have is that is difficult to tell when the coffemaker is on, as the only indication is that a back-light comes on behind the clock. This makes the clock a little easier to read, but it is difficult to see from across the room.

This model is a nightmare....the brew basket has been recalled by black and decker and by the time I got the replacement basket the machine had stopped working. Bought the newer model it is longer and the water container is a pain to fill. Really wish black and decker would get it together and go back to the quality control they once had.

Had many of these coffee makers, probably from the lst model that came out, always like the take of its coffee and the fact that it out of the way since it mounts under my cabinets.
