Intelligent Media Converters offer comprehensive media conversion, superb fault protection, and unparalleled management. For starters, there are several different Converter chassis made for different situations. For larger-scale applications, including central wiring closets, you can use this 17-slot chassis with one or two internal AC or DC power-supply modules. The power supplies of the 17-slot chassis are hot-swappable. When you have two installed in a chassis, they share the load. You can put one AC supply and one DC supply in the same chassis if necessary. Each chassis is cooled by a preinstalled pair of fans.
