I bought this for the stories by Laurell K. Hamilton and Charlaine Harris. Both stories are good and give you more insight into the characters in the main books. The Sookie Stackhouse story sets up the storyline in the next book. You meet the characters regarding her cousin in this story. The Anita Blake story is fun as I enjoy reading about her and Jean-Claude. The story takes place between Blue Moon and Obsidian Butterfly. Both writers are very skilled in drawing you into a story, you almost start believing that vampires are real!!! I especially like the strong female characters that they have in thier books. These ladies can take care of themselves, even if they do have to be rescued by men once in a while, they have also reciprocated. This is a fine read and I recommend it for other vampire lovers.

As a fan of Charlaine Harris, I purchased this book for her short story. What fun it has been to read other short stories in the same genre! it has been a great way to sample the writing of other authors. I'll be back for more books, starting with Laurell K. Hamilton.

Not the best pairing of stories, but not bad either. You need some knowledge of these authors to fully engage in the stories, but good enough for readers of these authors.

I really liked Angela Knight, Larell K. Hamilton and Maryjanice Davidson, Vickie Taylor's story I didn't even finsh, just not my style I guess. I bought this book for the sookie stackhouse story that Charlaine Harris wrote, it wasn't the story I had hoped for but still a pleasant read. I loved the other authors though and will buy their books for their great writing style, great sampler!

  Says it All

Three of my favorite authors contributed to this anthology. Angela Knight, Charlaine Harris, and MaryJanice Davidson have all written stories linked to their respective series for this anthology. I was not disappointed. The stories are great! Even though I haven't read a lot of Laurell K. Hamilton and Vickie Taylor I was quickly involved in their characters also. This is an excellent anthology with riveting novellas. A must have to complete your collection for an author you really enjoy!

  I Took a BITE

and boy did it BITE back.

Laurell K Hamilton is never disappointing with her Anita Blake novels! This short story "The Girl who was infatuated with Death" is no different. Makes you want Jean-Claude over and over! Her descriptions are like a movie playing in your head word for word! Hot Steamy Sensuous and with all her Anita Blake novels you just want MORE MORE MORE!!

Charlaine Harris did a fantastic job with "One word answer". Extremely descriptive and intriguing. A new twist on what I am used to reading. She did and fabulous job bringing her characters to life and introducing them. 5 stars!

MaryJanice Davidson wowed me with "Biting in Plain sight" very sensual with a New World twist. Her characters Sophie (a Vampire) and Liam (her lover) just enthralled me with the descriptions of thier love and lust. Beautifully Written. I'd recommend this book if it only had this short story. A worth the read vote from me!

Angela Knight never dissapoints me. Her short story "Galahad" mixes witchery and vampirism with perfection and the way she has written this story keeps your nose in the book. Sexy, Funny and interesting I didn't want it to end.

Vickie Taylor did an EXCELLENT job with her short story "Blood Lust". The title does not disappoint! Hot and steamy I give this story 5 stars and a thumbs up! With this short story she has turned me onto yet another paranormal author I get to spend my money on!

You will not be dissapointed with this collection of talented authors.

Laurell K Hamilton is wonderful as always, her vampires and wereanimals remain the most mysterious, charming, and sexy creatures I have ever read about. The other authors were creative, but I did not find them apt companions to Laurell's work.
