Fascinating bio of the famous Birdman of Alcatraz from a woman who lived on Alcatraz as the daughter of an administrator. Well researched, thorough, and and never dry or dull. This is a great read. This book completely changed my understanding of who this man really was. Black and white pictures of the man in youth and at prison.
