Multi-instrumentalist & Beck / Flaming Lips sideman Greg Kurstin and sly, girly chanteuse Inara George serve up a deliriously catchy set of jazzy pop spiked with lyrical irony. You’ll be breezing along to a ‘60s Brazillian-sounding groove on the wings of George’s soaring voice until you realize what she’s really singing about. Which only makes it more fun!

A brilliant album from Greg Kurstin the producer of Lily Allen, Jamelia and All Saints (each of whom released stunning albums in 2006!) and the wonderful Inara George, daughter of Little Feat's Lowell George. A melody charged and hook filled tour de force with hints of Saint Etienne and various '90's female fronted trip hop acts such as Mono. The only mis-step is the obvious shock value of single 'F**king Boyfriend' while being a great track must be skipped over anytime my 6 year old daughter is within earshot. Clever lyrics and interesting vocal and musical arrangements make this one of the freshest and most enjoyable listens in recent memory. Highlights include 'Birds & The Bees' and 'I'm A Broken Heart'.
