A bit of a disappointment compared to Thom Boswells other books. No where near as many good patterns, but alot of mediocre ones.

The feeders inside are quite cute and creative, theres one in the shape of an old fashioned swimming pool, airplane hangar, don't seem difficult at all.

fun and doable vs. strangeThe birdfeeders and houses are very doable for a 'basement hobby'. There are some silly and wild ones in this book that will keep you from getting bored during these long winter months,too.

Plans for 27 bird feeders, 3 baths, and 10 houses
Very unusual and interesting designs
Pros: It lists materials needed for each plan right down to how many screws or nails will be needed and what size they need to be. Nice closeup color photos of finished designs. Plans are written in clear concise step 1, step 2, etc. format. Diagrams and graphs are shown when the author wants to show detail.
Cons: Not all plans have diagrams and graphs, but they are usually the simple ones.
