Biology by Jane B. Reece, Neil A. Campbell (2004)

I found this book to be an intresting yet captivating read. It was hard to follow but it had its high and low points in the end. The end was less then what I exspected.

The book was in great coondition, fast shipping. Had to buy it for school, and saaved a lot of money by doing so on ebay.

It's a solid book on the fundamentals of biology. Though the examples can be better expressed and simplified. Being a college text is perfect, but the usage in school's biology AP class might be a bit challenging to the younger students. Overall it is a good book with in depth discussion of the basics of Biology. I decided to buy this book, because my sister's class requires the text and the CD. I think that this book is better than many of the Biology books out there, but it is geared towards those of higher education.

THE BOOK WAS MORE USED THEN I WOULD'VE LIKED IT TO HAVE BEEN. BUT IT HAD ALL THE MATERIALS THAT I NEEDED TO PASS THE CLASS.

what I liked about the books I bought were the condition they were in when they arrived, perfect just as the seller said.

This book has lots of pictures for those who need 'em. I find that pictures are easier to learn and memorize, since thats what passing biology is all about. I bought the study guide to this book and it was one of the best books I ever bought. I summarized ALL the chapters in much easier terms, and it also includes those much loved pictures:)

The books were listed as new. When I received the books they both had gashes in it (as my son put it, a dog has taken a bite out of it). The books were old and dusty as if they were in a garage or storage for a long time.

Bought this book for class- make sure you have the CD that goes along with the book. it is very helpful.

the price is really reasonable for a really thick book.
the cover is a bit worn and the edges are damaged and there are some markings inside.
overall i'm pleased with this book.

This book is quite thick and heavy. The diagrams within are great. They'll help you understand most of the important concepts. The CD is really good too. I used this book for AP biology and other college bio courses. Since the instructors use this book so often then it must contain some good stuffs. Beside, if it's "required" for the courses, then you have to get it no matter what.

Okay, first of all this was misrepresented. I looked up 7th edition and it said it was the 7th edition. Although, in fine, fine print, it said somewhere it was the 5th or something like that. It was very sneaky. So, he was nice and took it back. I sent it months ago, and still haven't recieved my money back. I am 16 years old, and spent my own hard earned money on a book i was going to use to help me study. I ended up paying for something I now, don't even have. I am very upset, and want my money back.

I didn't like this sellers response. He/She would not email me to tell me if they shipped my book or not, the promised delivery date was way off!

I purchased this book for a graduate course at the University of Maryland. These authors write very clearly; they manage complex vocabulary-laden concepts in a well written, easy-to-understand, organized manner. The diagrams are excellent, educational, and colorful. The 7th edition has a CD (I have not used it as yet). The chapter reviews are helpful in assessing your level of understanding. Overall, this is the best biology text I have read. I would highly recommend these authors!

I bought it for my son for his college work. So far, it seems to be a good buy. He uses it all the time for his class.

The book was in great condition when i bought it and it got to my house quickly. I bought the book because the books that are sold at my school are too expensive.

Would have been nice if he had put in the description that the book was paperback, and not hardback.

I never received the book and i am very disappointed because neither the seller or ebay is Cooperating with me to settle the claim filed.
