The book is required reading for my daughter's high school advanced biology class. This book has been used by her high school's Advanced Biology class for several years.

A book that is in great condition to assist in he advanced stud of biology. It is a classic book that is thorough and comprehensive.

I'm sorry but I can't even give a review, I never got my book. I'm halfway though the semester no one has called me and, I don't even know who to contact about my book or my money. I don't know what to do, I am very disappointed!

The book is in excellent conditionwhen I recieved it. I have been using it for my AP Biology class and everyone loves it, especially the fact that I purchased a $120 textbook for only $20. The delivery was alittle slow, but overall, the purchase was fantastic!

This is just a good biology book. I used this book my 2nd year in college and I found the information to be well represented by pictures, graphs, etc. I liked the book so much I kept it, rather than selling it back. Eventually when I transfered to the University of Florida, I lost the book in the move, but I decided to buy ANOTHER copy of it. It just makes it easy to show biology/science to others.

This book is able to describe complex biological concepts into simple words and helpful pictures. This is a must have book for students interested in learning biology without wanting a struggle understanding the material.

I use this book as a reference for work. It's an older edition, but most of the material is the same as the most recent release. The illustrations are especially helpful.

I have been through many biology books and i can truly say, this is one of the best. Even though I have not encountered the 7th edition, the 6th edition contains many descriptive diagrams, somewhat comprehendable text, and chapter reviews. This is the perfect introductory book to the world of biology.

"alright" topics covered: evolution, behavioral biology

In my view, the book does an outstanding job under harvesting energy, the beauty of physiology, and the basic fundamentals of life. However, I dont believe the evolutionary and behavioral biology topics are covered clearly and to the full extent of the authors. All-in-all, amazing book!

Book was in great condition, it had all the material required in my Biology 2 course (even though the instructor had a newer edition in our syllabus). This text was completely adequate; very comparable to the newer edition. Also, phenomenal price difference!!! The older edition was less than $20, while the newer was no less than $100.

I needed a college introductory textbook to refresh my skills as a teacher. I think this 2002 edition is thorough and mostly up to date without the one hundred dollar plus price of a current edition.

The book condition is same as description. Almost new. The shipping is fast. It took around 5~6 days to arrive.

This textbook was one of the first books I purchased at half.com and I have had a very pleasent experience. I bought a different book from amazon.com and it took 3 weeks to arrive. This way and through this seller I was able to receive the book within 1 week. Regarding the taxtbook itself, Its very informative and language is easy to understand for anyone.

I bought this item for a class I'm taking. It is a good biology text. This isn't an item I would buy unless I needed it for school but it was great that I could find it on ebay since I NEEDED it.

He kept me up to date on the status of my order. He filled order promptly and condition of book matched his description. I would do business with him again.

My high school daughter is in AP Biology, and the text book, through the publisher cost $130!! We went to Ebay, whom we have used and trusted for years, and found the book for less than $40, which included shipping.

The seller was great, timely, with good packaging. What a savings!! When the class is over, we can sell the book to a future student, and make a profit!! This student will save, and we will more than cover our cost for this year.

This was my first time purchasing textbooks for High School. I had reviewed the list and it was going to run several hundred dollars. I had received a promotional email from Half.com and things snowballed from there. With ISBN numbers in had I started the search.
