Biology by Diana W. Martin, Eldra P. Solomon, Linda R. Berg (2004, Package)

The book is informative, but the graphs and pictures lack anything of value. The book is really wordy. Plus, the darn CD-Rom didn't work!

There is too much information in this book. There is no point in reading all of it unless you are assigned to do so. One of the authors was my lecturer and she didn't even go over half the material from the chapters containing my first exam.

Excellet book. Have all features of the 8th edition. The guide have and overview of the possible tests.

First of all, don't take Bio at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ with Glavy. He is horrible and says you will fail the course if you do not buy the exact bio book he suggests. Also the TA is horrible, and he is terrible as well. Anyway, I just got the book and I haven't even looked in it, but I'm sure it will serve me fine for this BS some call CH-281 Biology and Biotechnology.

Thank god for ebay and older/other editions of textbooks.

I bought this book and it never arrived and seller never responded back to my emails. So after 4 weeks, I filed a claim with half.com and guess what? Half.com doesn't give a rat's ass, either! Been more than 2 months now since I filed the claim to get my money back but still haven't heard a thing from half.com!

I've buy and sell books online before through half.com and this semester is the semester that I've been having most troubles with. That's why next time, I'll never do business on half.com again! Stick with amazon.com if you want to buy and sell books online, people!

i paid for this item long ago, and never receive the book, bad seller. Ebay have not try to get my money back.

its been almost 2 months now i havent receive my book,,i dont know whats wrongs,,,i tried to send email but no responds to the seller,,,

Very poor service. Sold a book not in stock. Seller don’t respond to emails. Book was late in 2 months until they realized they don’t even have it. Not happy. Never do business again.

We decided to order my daughter's college textbooks from half.com because several other kids at school had done the same thing and saved quite a bit. We tried to order 5 different times for 3 books, only had two sellers contact us when books offered were not available, got charged for everything (all 5 orders) only got ONE book and 2 credits back. It's very hard to actually talk to an individual if there's a problem, but your credit card get billed regardless.
We figured out that the name "Half.com" doesn't have anything to do with savings......it's how much of your order actually arrives. (Probably should be Third.com or Fourth.com)

I bought it becasue i am in college and i needed the book expecting i would get it with in 2 weeks of when i purchased it. It has been 6 weeks now and i have not heard anything from the buyer. THe book is payed for but i have yet to get it in the mail. I still need the book for class so i filed a claim on the book.

I have not received the book, so how am I supposed to do a rating. My class is now in the 6th week of class and I have not received it. Can someone please contact me or give me a phone number where I can talk to someone,you know who I purchaed the book from. They deducted the money out of my checking account, if I do not receive that book than I want my money put back into my checking account. This will not be my last attempt if I do not receive a response I will than have to obtain counsel to resolve this problem. I rated this poor but if I had more choses I would rate this experience horrible!!!!

I sent off for the book near the end of August, and now the beginning of October i have yet to recieve it! I wasted time and money on these purchases! i am appalled at the owner for not upholding their end of the ebay contract!
