This was not the correct book! This book was an international version of this same title. The version this seller is selling is illegal to sell to anyone in the United States. This seller is selling this book under the pretense of the original book, and selling it illegally in the United States. This seller needs to be stopped from this illegal action immediately!!

I returned the book, the instructor changed books. Therfore I cannot say that it was either good or bad.

Arrived relatively fast after purchasing online. However, it was not the right book i needed, so had to find another online that I orginally was looking for. However, besides buying the wrong book, it was a good transaction. Would do buisness again. Needs more description(ISBN) for selling books to avoid such mistakes in the future for buyers.

I love the great price I got on half.com. The book is required, and to get it for less than half of what the corporate pig, on-campus bookstore was charging was GREAT! Only problem is, it is one HEAVY book. Along with my others in my backpack, I'm toting about 60 pounds around all day, three days a week.

The book was a good price. I was sent the international edition. It was the same content as the U.S,. version and my daughter hasn't had any problems with the version. Seller shipped very quickly too.

I needed this book for a class so I ordered it earlier but it never arrived. I ended up paying for a new copy from the bookstore. I do realize that once it's sent out the seller can't do anything about it, but when I tried contacting the seller, she was very selective in what e-mails she wanted to respond to, and wasn't very helpfull. Overall this was the first time I was this disappointed in anybody and I shop on e-bay all the time.

This book includes the basic background in chemistry when required without assuming the reader is already conversant with the underlying principles. The art and photos are excellent. The scope is fairly wide, and it covers all the topics well. The only real downside is that it is a big, and therefor somewhat heavy, book.
