Biography - Johnny Depp (DVD, 2006)

This is a great DVD for the Johnny Depp Fan. Keep in mind this DVD really does not get into "Pirates". So if your looking for more info on the Jack Sparrow charactor you will be dissapointed. Overall this is a very good DVD. I found that it did not go much into his family, didnt really go into his education, things like that. I was hoping for a Biography it would talk about his family a little just so you can get to know what Johnny is really about. You leave at the end of this DVD wanting more information. All and all, this is a basic overview of his career, not his life. It shows little of his early years and little of his music career. Bottom line, if you like Johnny Depp, how could you not like this short Bio?

This was a very good, very informative biography. I would highly recomend it to my friends and family.

I had already gotten this DVD earlier and was misled by the new cover of the DVD. Had to send it back to the seller for credit to PayPal, because they did not have a newer version of his biography. All went well, and my PayPal account was credited properly.

The story line was very good it keep a good rythem. It nice to see all the true story of your favor act9r being told by all his good friend.

Great interview. I rated it good and not excellent because the Bravo interview was more Johnny. But this is wonderful with the insights from others. Johnny has his charming ways about him too. Every fan should see this one and the Bravo one. It really makes you glad you are a fan. Johnny comes across as geunine, shy and inteligent with a mischievious (sp) sense of humor. A&E did a good job. It was money well spent with this seller too. I received a real dvd not bootleg/copied/burned.

this was not a good experience for me. I purchased this item because the price was excellent. I was very excited about getting it. But I never recieved this item therefore I cannot review something I paid for and never got

it was wonderful, had alot of information about johnny's career etc. would definitely recommend to anyone to watch it.

I liked actually getting to see Johnny as a real person...I just wish there had been more footage of him rather than all his co-stars and producers etc.

Good DVD for Johnny Depp fans. Covers everything from childhood, love of music, how Johnny first got started in acting, relationships, and the best role of his life: fatherhood.

I bought it for my daughter she is in love with Johnny Depp. She thaught the movie was cool. She read the book but never seen the movie. She was very happy with it.

I purchased this DVD because I'm in love with Johnny Depp. It was all I hoped for;and more! I was not at all disappointed. I can't wait until they let the DVD, Inside The Actors Studio-Interview with Johnny Depp,out. (I saw it on t.v.) That was awesome! I will be purchasing that too. Well, I got that too, finally and he is sooooo incredibly cute and sexy in it! He just blows me away! Kim

This DVD potrays well Johnny Depp's life but I expected much more interviews with him himself. 5 or 6 people talk about him and about his life and it gives an overall picture about him and about his movies, but I expected a longer version (it is only 50 minutes) and I actually expected himself to talk about his life. It's worth seeing but for me it was too short and not very thorough. One of my favourite films with Johnny is Dead Man, and it was not even mentioned.
