Thank you for voting. If your vote meets our GREAT!I have always loved "Biography". Wish it was televised more often. This biography explains "The Duke" from the beginning of his life through to his death. It tells how he received the nickname, "The Duke". I recommend this DVD for everyone. If you are a John Wayne fan, you have to own a copy of this.

I didnt learn anything new. I would certainly have prefered to see John Wayne in interviews, and also more anectdotes from people that knew him. If you have just become interested in the Duke, then this is a good starting point to learn more about the Big Guy. If you are already a fan and have seen most of his movies, you are better off re-watching his classics.

John Wayne has always been a big favorite of mine. This biography was full of information I hadn't known about him. Not only the stories about the good things but it also showed that he was human. Not just the cardboad cutout that Hollywood would have had you believe so long ago. To me John Wayne is still and always will be The Duke, by the way I learned where that name originated watching this biography too. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did, thanks for reading.

I WAS BUYING THIS DVD AS A CHRISTMAS PRESENT AND THEN GOT AN EMAIL SAYING THEY DON'T SHIP TO IRELAND SO I NEVER GOT IT
