After owning older versions of TaeBo, my workout partner and I appreciate the changes in this one. While it focuses on cardiovasular and endurence like most exercise videos, this version has more upper-body exercise (appropriate for women), strengthening, and Pilantes-type moves for warm-up and cool-down.
We use TaeBo because of the total body work out it provides - it works on all systems, not just abs or hips. The first part of the video a good review for all of us out-of-shape folks and I'm pleasantly surprised at the endurence I've built in five weeks. It will be another month or two before I'm ready for the second DVD which has more intense routine. I've already lost five pounds and am toning up nicely with 3-4 times a week routine.
