Smart comedy
Completely appropriate for teens and up - not JUST for teenagers.
This is the kind of movie to watch again and again. The dialog between the characters is packed with quotable lines. As is appropriate for a screwball comedy, the crooks are dumb, but they can function as such because a few of the other characters are equally dense. The conflict between two of the intelligent characters (Tim Allen and his teenage son who thinks he's hopelessly out-of-it), is enjoyable, and is well-contrasted with the relationship between the teenage girl and her mother.
