The hits had begun to die down by the late 1980s for Canadian rockers Loverboy, with such younger upstarts as Bon Jovi taking their place on the charts. But they had racked up more than enough Top 40 singles to constitute their first compilation, 1989's BIG ONES.
The band's subsequent 1994 collection included a few more tracks (such as "Almost Paradise," the hit duet from FOOTLOOSE that featured Mike Reno and Heart's Ann Wilson), but BIG ONES is just as enjoyable. Name a Loverboy favorite and chances are it's included here--"Lovin' Every Minute of It," "Heaven in Your Eyes," "Working for the Weekend," "Turn Me Loose," "Lucky Ones," "Hot Girls In Love," "The Kid Is Hot Tonite," etc.
