Big Man on Campus is a 1989 twisted modernization of the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Written by Allan Katz, who also stars as Bob Maloogaloogaloogaloogalooga (the Hunchback)BMOC is simply hilarious, and has been largely ignored. Even Blockbuster's new movie program does not offer BMOC, which has been out of print and never converted from VHS to DVD. The story follows Bob as he pursues Kathy and his bid to be a normal UCLA student. The movie co-stars Cindy Willimas (of Laverne & Shirey fame) and Tom Skerrit (who I am sure does not brag about his portrayl as a psychologist). This movie will make you laugh, and deserves to be seen by a larger audience. A movie highpoint is Bob's first visit to a fast food chicken restuarant where he is urged to order any part of the chicken. His order? "Two faces." When asked to give himself a name, he chooses "Judy Finkle." If you can find it, you will enjoy BMOC.

I saw this movie when it first came out ... and thought it was Hilarious! Big Man On Campus is a Classic. I wish that it were on DVD. If you like Comedy and haven't seen this movie, then you have missed a good one! Like other reviewers have said ... This one has become a family favorite for us. Nothing like hearing your daughter's try to talk like 'ol "Bob .. Malooga, Looga, Looga, Loogfa, ... Looga! One Malooga .. 4 Looga's! LOL!

When my boys were younger around 12 and 13 we watched this movie for the first time and we laughed so hard.I thought I would try to find it so I looked on e-bay where you can find everything and anything and I found it,I was so pleased now my sons have watched Big Man on Campus with their wife and girlfriend.They are getting alot of laughs plus bring back memories for thier dad and myself...Thank you so much......Suzie Schwope and family

Big Man on Campus is a very funny movie. I had been searching for it for some time. I actually lost 6 auctions before I actually got this copy. Although the story is funny there is an underlying message that people can't be judged by their looks. I highly recommend watching this movie if you can find it.

Big Man on Campus is hysterical! Unfortunately, not many people have ever heard of it. The reason i bought it on ebay, is because i cannot find it in stores or even rent it.
If you love stupid humor, it's a must see!

I originally saw this movie years ago on HBO and had always wanted to own it. I highly recommend that you see this movie. It is funny and it also teaches us that no matter what we look like or where we come from, there is always an inner beauty in us.

If you haven't seen this movie, make sure you do. Bob Malooga looga looga looga loogs is the funniest character ever. The movie itself is not the greatest but the lines that come out of Bob's mouth are lines that you will repeat to your friends and get a laugh everytime. "Why don't I just call you Bob"

I had this movie on VHS and one of boys loaned it out and I never got it back. I tried to order it through some video stores but found out that it was not being made anymore. A friend of mine suggested Ebay and lo and behold, there it was. The movie is on VHS which doesn't have the greatest picture, but I love this movie and I am very pleased with my purchase.

Because I watched this movie in the 80's and it was the funniest movie I had ever watched. I have tried to rent this movie several times or buy it and could never find it till I found it on ebay. I bought it because no matter how many times I watch it, I laugh till my sides ache. Funniest movie ever!!!!!

As stated in anothre review posted here, this is a 1980's American verison of the Hunchback of Notre-Dame.

I first saw it many years ago and found it hilarious, good clean fun with even a wink at the infamous TV talk shows.

I found the most funny moments to be when Bob is interviewed by the school's pannel to assess his progress(Oh boy!) and when he states his name (Malooga, looga looga looga, looga. 1 Malooga-4 loogas!

Looking forward to seeing it again and again.

I find it quite unbelievable that it hasn't been released on DVD nor that I had to come to E-Bay to find it.

I saw this movie once several, many years ago and have looked for it ever since. I absolutely have to have this movie. There are very few things in this world that I HAVE to have, and this is one of them. I may cry if I don't get it.

I watched this movie on tv when i was a kid. Years later i find out that the production company burnt to the ground, taking the original copy of this movie with it. I loved it as a kid, and having a very limited number of copies left in good condition made buying an easy dicision.

This movie is great for a laugh. If you're looking for a movie to watch with your children and you aren't into high brow education it's perfect. Great for bringing the generations together and have a common reference for jokes.
