Big generator came about as a nice addition to 90125. The change did the band some good, and added new sounds, as well as new listeners to their fan base - it did not as some rock snobs might say turn the band into a pop sellout sacrificing quality for airtime. The songs each have legs, and are a pleasure to listen to, as well as just being excellent rockin tunes. Absolutely worth it to have in your collection.

THIS CD IS NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN CONVENTIONAL STORES AND THE PRICE WAS MUCH LESS THAN I WOULD HAVE PAID. IT ARRIVE QUICKLY AND IN GOOD CONDITION. THANKS TO EBAY AND THE VENDOR I NOW HAVE A MUCH AWAITED ADDITION TO MY COLLECTION.

I am a huge Yes fan, especially the "Rabin" years. While this cd is nowhere close to one of their best, and has more of an 80's sound than a Yes sound, I have enjoyed it anyway.

This album is another of the ones with Trevor Rabin on it. I do not like the sound of the band with him in it. His style changes the style of the band and makes it more of a top 40 pop music band and not a progressive rock band. His music does not sound like it flows.

many "yes" fans, believe that there is only one "yes". j. anderson, s. howe, c. squire, r. wakeman and they may say that either b. bruford or a. white are acceptable. as much as I will give them that this lineup is an exceptional group of musicians and have made some incredible music together, I have also enjoyed the work that t. rabin has done with the band. yes, t. kaye is no wakeman, but a serviceable keybord player. "big generator" is a very listenable collection of songs, with "shoot high,aim low" being one of my favorite songs ever!

True Yes fans will appreciate this CDAny true Fan of any musical group may have a favorite period, but must appreciate all periods of growth and change that a group goes through while creating a musical products. This CD marks a change for YES, but one I sure appreciate. It is less of the Alternative Rock style they are known for in the early years, but shows the diversity the group is capable of when listener lasts change. This CD gained YES a new younger fan base at a time when sales were slumping. It was a good move. I love this CD. It is lyrically an amazing work. Lots to sing along with and wonderful messages, as well as great melodies. BUY THIS CD. Highly recommended.
