Big Brother 4 was a great season. One of the biggest things that happened was, of course, the first couple in the U.S. Big Brother house slept together. She was booted out the next day in a unanimous decision, without anyone even knowing what had happened. Very Harsh, Very Cool. Purchasing the DVD, I thought it would be an intricate look into the show, things that the regular viewer didn't see on TV, and things that occured during the blackout times online. But no, this is just a recap of the season. If you saw the episodes during the season on TV, if you followed online happenings (whether you subscribed or followed along with jokersupdates or some other site), then you've already seen what is on this DVD. If you're looking for the highlights, this would be a good buy, but otherwise a total waste of money and time. Sorry - I gotta give this a Thumbs Down!

I THOUGHT THAT THE DVD COULD HAVE HAD MORE ON IT. IT DIDN'T SHOW ENOUGH OF THE SEASON OF BIG BROTHER 4. I WATCHED THE ORIGINAL ON TV, THEY LEFT OUT A LOT OF INTERESTING AND GOOD PARTS. I BOUGHT THE DVD BECAUSE I WAS TOLD BY THE SELLER THAT IT WAS THE ENTIRE SEASON, BUT IT TURNS OUT, IT WAS "THE BEST OF"

What did I love/like about BB4 X-Factor:
X-Factor is that it has a lot of extra stuff.
Extra unseen scenes, and commentary from the contestants.
What I don't like about it:
You won't know really what's going on and it's hard to follow for those who didn't see this season on tv.
Why Did I decide to buy it?
Because I am a BB addict, I love everything about BB. I only wish this DVD was easier to follow for my friends who didn't watch this season.

I am a fan of the Big Brother show.
This DVD version of the "X-Factor" Season of Big Brother is fun.
It is my fault that I bought the wrong version. I thought this version was going to have all of the episodes from the season. This version does not.
For offering a 2 DVD set, this offers the basic journey the show took and all of the most exciting moments. It also offers uncensored moments that are bleeped or covered up on the TV.
The look of the DVD menus is very simple and not at all exciting or flashy. It does not distract from the fun of the material, but it does not enhance it either.
I do believe there is a DVD version with the complete episodes. Don't make the mistake I did.....If you want the complete episodes, they will clearly state that.

This DVD isn't the entire season, it's just a "Best Of" DVD. Even though the picture of the DVD in the auction conveniently erased that part off the picture, it shows BEST OF loud and clear on the cover when it arrives. Beware.

I never watched Big Brother until this season (Big Brother 8), and now I'm hooked. I now want to see all of the previous Big Brother seasons, but the only ones available on DVD are BB3 and BB4. (BB3 comes in a complete season set of 9 disks (32 episodes), and I watched it, but it was WAY too much to watch.) This BB4 DVD set condenses the events of the season onto 2 disks. Much more manageable.
