Lots of flavor, fills you up, yet low in fat. How can you miss! Easy to make recipes, and easy to customize to your taste. Don't like it pepper hot? Delete the hot peppers and add a spice you do. However, except for the hot peppers, try the recipe as written, before you change it. You will find new and exciting flavors that will leave you wanting more.
Granted, unless you have a good Asian food store handy, it will take some time via the internet or a trip to another town to get some of the ingredients. Start with the simple recipes and easy to get ingredients, and work your way to the more complex and harder to find items. For example, while the author doesn't like canned water chestnuts, I like them just fine.
If you like to cook, plain and simple, or complex and involved, you will find recipes that will become your favorites. This book is just plain fun!
