Big Book Of Toy Airplanes by miller tom (2005, Paperback)

This book was dissappointing. It did not cover Marx or Wyandotte airplanes. I was hoping to find more extensive coverage of old toy airplanes.

I have to admit, I am just a novice on collecting Die cast Airplanes, which is one of the reasons I purchased my copy of "Big Book Of Toy Airplanes - By Tom Miller". With this admission of knowledge, I would have to rate the publication on a below average rating. This is due to the very small entries of Airplanes, as well as the very minimal information given for each entry. I was really hoping to learn much more than what I was able to. To me, it seems to be put together with very little effort or research. I would not recommend this publication to anyone who wants detailed information or is looking for a well written reference guide.

OVERALL,WORTHWHILE IF YOU CAN PICK IT UP FOR SAY $15.00 OR LESS INCLUDING SHIPPING. DOES GIVE SOMEWHAT GOOD INSIGHT ACROSS THE SPECTRUM INTO THE WORLD OF DIECAST/METAL TOY AIRCRAFT. I CERTAINLY HAVE GAINED A BETTER AWARENESS OF WHAT'S WHAT IN THIS SPECIFIC COLLECTIBLE GENRE,THANKS TO THIS BOOK!
